Lunar Buggy is a Retro Remake of the old time classic Moon Buggy. It is a quite simple game, but it shows what can be done with not too much work on the Nintendo DS. The game is not finished as of yet, but it is playable. If there is interest, then the source code will be available a bit later as well. The code is based on devkitpro and PA_Lib. This game is a so called home-brew game. It is not officially endorsed by Nintendo. The reason is that home brew, can lead to piracy. We however take a different view on this subject. We think home-brew games are a wonderfull way for would-be game programmers to come in contact with game coding on different platforms. Also it stimulates creativity in a way, mere game-playing does not. Home brew games are not illegal, but it is time for the platform makers to start recognizing it as a great asset to the community!
